WILL MY CLOTHES GET STAINED?

The point of the color run is to get color on your clothes! The dye is natural, but only wear clothing you do not mind getting stained. A leaf blower will be available for you to walk through to get rid of any loose color dye at the end of the race.

WILL THE DYE STAIN MY HAIR? 

It does wash out, but some colors may take longer than others. If you are concerned about your hair please take precautions, such as a hat or bandana. Lighter hair does attract the color more than darker hair.

If you just purchase new running shoes and don’t want to risk color staining them, we suggest not wearing them. It will be more fun if you don’t have to worry about such things.

HOW DO I KEEP THE BEAUTIFUL DYE ON MY EVENT SHIRT? 

Spray it with vinegar, let it dry and then iron it. If you want the dye to stay forever, never wash your shirt! But please don’t wear it around us later.

SHOULD I BRING MY CAMERA OR PHONE? 

We will have a photographer taking pictures for everyone to see! If you must bring your camera or phone, we suggest putting it in a plastic bag. We will not be responsible for phone and/or cameras that receive damage because you didn’t believe us.

CAN THE DYE CAUSE VISUAL OR BREATHING PROBLEMS? 

The dye throwers will be aiming for your legs, but it is a powder. If you are concerned about visual or breathing problems, we suggest wearing goggles or glasses, and a mask or bandana over your face. If you are worried about how you will look- DON’T! It is common for people to wear such items during a run where they will be throwing dye. You will have more fun if you come prepared and don’t have to worry about such things.
