Get Your Kinesiotaping and Stretching at the run!

Kinesiotaping

Kinesiotaping is a form of taping that can be used for each phase of need, from reduced swelling in an acute injury, to helping outcomes in the rehabilitation phase of care, and finally as an adjunct to training or competition to improve performance and recovery.  It is currently being used by athletes across the board from professional to weekend warriors and is usually recognized by its bright colors.  Traditional tapes have been used primarily to limit movement, but the goal of Kinesiotape is to encourage movement.

Stretching
Assisted stretching will be provided to race participants pre and post race to help relieve any stiff or sore muscles. Stretching is essential to properly warm and prepare the muscles for activity and to allow for proper recovery.
